About the Project

Anantmool is committed to improving the lives of children facing adversity, focusing on their well-being and development. In partnership with the Azim Premji Foundation, we have launched the Rural Crèche Initiative, a transformative program designed to enhance the nutritional status and developmental milestones of children aged 7 months to 3 years.

This initiative provides comprehensive support through supplementary feeding, early childhood development programs, and ensuring access to essential entitlements critical for children’s growth. By prioritizing early intervention, we aim to address challenges such as growth faltering, underweight, and wasting in young children, with consistent follow-up to ensure their sustained well-being. Through this holistic approach, we strive to create nurturing environments where every child can thrive and reach their full potential, laying the foundation for a healthier and brighter future.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in logistics coordination and basic accounting, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Applicant must have their own motor bike and have driving license.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software like Tally (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, expense management, and vendor payments.
  • Strong skills in logistics planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.                                                                     

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Support:

  • Maintain day-to-day financial records, including data entry, invoice management, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, fund utilization statements, and budgets for projects.
  • Support statutory compliance tasks such as GST, TDS, and other NGO-specific filings.
  • Manage petty cash, ensure timely reimbursements, and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
  • Assist in documentation for audits, donor reports, and fund management compliance (12A, 80G, FCRA).

2. Logistics Support:

  • Coordinate procurement of project materials, office supplies, and other operational requirements.
  • Maintain records of inventory, deliveries, and vendor payments.
  • Organize logistics for events, meetings, and training sessions, including venue bookings and resource arrangements.
  • Manage transportation and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Support the team in managing travel arrangements and accommodations for staff and field visits.

3. General Support:

  • Maintain organized records of financial documents, purchase orders, and vendor contracts.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports for financial and logistical operations.
  • Collaborate with program and field teams to ensure smooth execution of project-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies for procurement, accounts, and logistics.

Key Competencies:

  • Logistics Management: Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and monitoring procurement, inventory, and transportation.
  • Basic Accounting Skills: Ability to manage petty cash, record expenses, and process vendor payments.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial documentation, inventory tracking, and compliance with processes.
  • Vendor Coordination: Effective negotiation and relationship management with vendors for procurement and services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting software like Tally.
